ChaseWaterford – Risk Consulting Assessment Partner
International organisations have a fundamental responsibility and duty of care to provide a secure environment in which its people can live and operate but seldom have they faced such an array of risks in varying degrees of potency and complexity. This risk spectrum is complex and varying; ranging from fraud, theft, coercion and organised crime to the extreme of politically motivated activism and terrorism. Meeting the challenges of managing the broad range of risks whilst trying to provide a secure environment in which to operate is complex. Providing the right level of security which affords appropriate controls and protection but which does not exacerbate the very tense conditions in which employees often work is therefore crucial.
With over two decades of experience, ChaseWaterford (www.chasewaterford.com) have helped hundreds of companies in over 70 countries to maintain the integrity of their bottom line by identifying and eliminating opportunities for accidental or deliberate fraud and security failure. Often operating in difficult environments where the rule of law is not always a given, ChaseWaterford's subject matter experts including Certified Fraud Examiners, Security Engineers and Risk Consultants, work closely with government agencies and clients' senior management to develop and implement effective risk management strategies that address the risks to clients' people, product and clients' profits as well as the issue of compliance to FCPA and the UKBA. As a result of ChaseWaterford's success and reliability, they have built a reputation as a provider of specialised risk services to a growing list of major multinational clients. Today, these are companies that rely on ChaseWaterford to help safeguard their employees and assets in an increasing number of developing countries around the globe.

Digitalis Reputation – Online Reputation Management
Digitalis Reputation (DR) is an online reputation business boasting unique, proprietary technology that allows it to monitor and mitigate global digital risk.
DR's typical brief is to assist companies who are catapulted into a security or reputational crisis. They have the ability to displace a damaging entry on the first page of Google (which their technology facilitates well and rapidly) or to re-balance the impact of biased, negative content around key search phrases. Digitalis operate in all countries with the exception of a handful.
However the broader service can be split into three components: Vulnerability, Threat Assessment and Crisis Preparedness, Crisis Monitoring, Search Engine Results Page Management.
1. Vulnerability, Threat Assessment & Crisis Preparedness
DR’s online threat audit collates and analyses all the information currently online about a client. DR's proprietary software trawls search engines and the deep web identifying information which could be used by hostile actors to cause reputational harm or cyber or physical security damage. By understanding the extent of its ‘digital shadow’, the client can then mitigate and prepare a response in advance or as a specific crisis hits.
The software also identifies vulnerabilities in search engine rankings by search term and territory. This allows a client to see how they are viewed in Google in each country in which they are operating.
2. Crisis Monitoring
DR monitor (24/7) 130m blogs, forums and news websites for mentions so they can immediately identify when content has been published about a client name, brand or a specific matter.
Automated daily or real time email alerts inform the client and their advisors of any significant risk to reputation or security the minute it hits the internet.
Unlike other monitoring services, DR is attuned to specifically identify threat and risk, filtering out unnecessary mentions which maybe irrelevant.
DR also analyse its likely trajectory and global spread, most commonly assessing the extent of negativity and the risk of a damaging article achieving a mass audience as a result of climbing to the top of the Search Engine Results Pages.
3. Search Engine Results Page Management
DR promote positive commentary and articles in the search engines so as to ensure that the top listings are dominated with favourable content. Promoting such content on an ongoing basis reduces the risk of new negative content "sticking" as and when it arises.
Digitalis often provide this to clients once a crisis has occurred and they have endured significant reputational damage online. However more commonly DR assists clients in advance of a crisis which allows them to strengthen their results pages before an event occurs.
Having established a strong barrier of positive content, enhanced the technical strength of owned and controlled web properties, and monitored and mitigated against ongoing risk, it is likely that there will become a phase where any dissenting noise meets such a barrier, that ongoing protection through maintenance is sufficient, supported by reactive, tactical response, where required. Each project is bespoke and priced up accordingly.

Hawk Sight Security Risk Management Ltd
Corporate Security is an accepted, but misunderstood facet of international business. A lack of standardised security risk assessment methodology, together with overused militaristic language, lead to a lack of continuity in security risk reporting, and confusion when trying to justify security spending.
Hawk Sight Ltd. is an on-line Security Risk Management business that uses a unique software solution (known as Hawk Sight) to ensure that Security Risk Assessments (SRA) are compliant with international Enterprise Risk Management Standards. Each form can be individually updated at any time, reinforcing the iterative nature of risk analysis. The system encourages regular updates of all parameters including Control Level Effectiveness, Target Attractiveness and Threat Data, recalculating the associated risks automatically, which are then recorded in a dynamic Security Risk Register.
SRA take significantly less time, offering an 80% saving when compared to traditional security consultancy, as well as presenting security risk in a language that corporate decision makers can understand.
1. Security Threat Monitoring
Hawk Sight draws on open source electronic data harvested using an intelligence data mining solution. Results are analysed by a team of regionally based analysts who continually update Hawk Sight's global security threat database allowing us to respond rapidly to client's request for an initial Security Risk Assessment and updates.
2. Security Risk Assessment Methodology
Hawk Sight follows a five stage RIsk Assessment Methodology that effectively combines the guidelines laid down in the AS/NZ ISO 31000 Enterprise Risk Management Standard and associated Australian Standards Security Risk Management Handbook 167.
